Job summary

Volumetric Building Companies is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support early concept to handoff across design, estimating, procurement, and manufacturing. You will help establish scope, schedule, and budget with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

The role is ideal for candidates with 2–3 years in AEC, engineering, or manufacturing, who are highly organized and eager to grow into a Project Manager role at VBC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction, architecture, engineering, manufacturing, project coordination, estimating, or related AEC environment.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of project plans from design through handoff.
• Assist with scope, schedule, budget, and milestones for projects.
• Review drawings and documents for completeness and coordination.
• Track changes and communicate potential impacts on scope, schedule, and cost.
• Prepare project status updates and meeting minutes for leadership.
• Support transition of projects from preconstruction to execution and manufacturing.
