Volumetric Building Companies (VBC) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the U.S. Project Delivery Team.

You will help manage projects from early design through manufacturing, collaborating with internal departments to turn concepts into reality using project management tools and best practices. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read contract drawings (architectural/engineering).
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with AIA contract documents helps.
• Highly organized with proactive attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & project software.

Responsibilities

• Assist managing projects from concept through design, manufacturing, construction, and handoff.
• Prepare, submit, and manage approval of submittals.
• Review submittals for conformance with project specifications.
• Monitor RFIs and ensure timely communication.
• Schedule factory and field inspections and punch lists.
• Support project closeout documentation.
