Job summary

Schindler Group is seeking an Assistant Project Lead Code and Compliance in Boston to support service, maintenance, and repairs of elevators, escalators, and moving walks while ensuring local code compliance. You will coordinate testing, inspections, and AHJ requirements across NY, CA or MA jurisdictions and act as a central contact for Operations and Sales.

You will manage schedules and documentation, respond to inquiries, and help prevent violations by meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 0-1 years of experience; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting/documentation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project coordination and compliance testing scheduling with AHJs and internal teams.
• Maintain documentation, trackers, and compliance reports for submission to AHJs.
• Coordinate testing dates, inspections, repairs, and permits; communicate with stakeholders.
• Respond to inquiries within one business day and keep internal teams informed.
