Job summary

Worldpac is seeking an Associate Project Manager to help accelerate the delivery of our enterprise AI program. You will plan, coordinate, and manage small to medium AI and technology projects within the PMO, supporting senior PMs and stakeholders to deliver on time and expected outcomes.

The ideal candidate has solid PM fundamentals, hands-on AI project exposure, and a desire to grow into a senior PM role in a fast-paced automotive aftermarket environment.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of project management or lead experience in IT or enterprise tech.
• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise AI projects (generative AI, AI-enabled automation).
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry/OpenAI, Vertex AI.
• Familiarity with integration with Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow.
• Foundational understanding of AI concepts (LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI risk).
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and waterfall PM methodologies.
• Strong Jira and Confluence skills; MS Project or Smartsheet is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Self-starter with proactive learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage small to medium AI/tech projects end to end.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including AI engineers, data, security, and users.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and document decisions and actions.
• Track milestones and dependencies in PM tools and ensure timely delivery.
• Support AI pilots, proofs of concept, and go/no-go decisions.
• Prepare weekly status reports, RAID logs, and stakeholder updates.
• Manage budgets, vendor deliverables, and SOW milestones.
• Contribute to PMO processes, templates, and playbooks.
• Mentor teammates and grow PMO and AI knowledge.
