IDEA Public Schools seeks a Special Education RISE teacher to serve students with significant disabilities, delivering instruction across core subjects and adaptive PE. You will provide resources and emotional support to families for long-term planning, while ensuring high achievement expectations.

• Bachelor’s degree required and valid Texas Special Education certification.
• Experience in a Special Education classroom with significant disabilities preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEPs, related services, and behavior management.

Responsabilidades

• Adapt lessons to meet diverse student needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Coordinate related services for students on caseload.
• Assess student progress and update IEPs accordingly.
• Use state standards and IDEA curricula in instruction.
• Maintain weekly lesson plans and gradebook.
• Communicate progress with families weekly and at meetings.
• Foster a positive, high-expectation learning environment.
