Job summary

IDEA Public Schools in Texas is seeking a Special Education teacher for the RISE program. In this role you will educate students with diverse disabilities, adapt lessons, develop and implement IEPs, and coordinate related services to maximize student achievement.

You will work in a collaborative environment, engaging families and managing progress through regular updates and assessments. A Texas Special Education certification is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students
• Develop IEPs for a caseload of students
• Implement IEPs and track student progress
• Communicate progress with families weekly
• Host tutoring sessions as needed
• Participate in weekly manager check-ins and meetings
