Job summary

SiFive is seeking an experienced Linux kernel software architect to improve and debug the RISC-V Linux kernel, with emphasis on high-core-count server systems. You will interact with upstream communities, post patches, and collaborate with system software and validation teams on SiFive designs.

You will work with hardware architects and RTL engineers to improve core and system designs, FPGA/emulation platforms, and virtualization support in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and reviewing patches for the upstream Linux kernel.

Responsibilities

• Improve and debug the RISC-V Linux kernel for high core count servers.
• Interact with upstream Linux and OpenSBI communities, post and review patches.
