Dow Inc. in Marietta, GA is seeking an experienced Technical Service and Development Scientist specializing in polyurethane formulations for rigid foams.

You will collaborate across research, commercial, supply chain and manufacturing to deliver solutions and share technical knowledge with customers. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a chemical-related field and at least 6 years of experience leading projects and bringing rigid foam products to market, with work authorization to operate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field such as Chemistry, Materials Science, or Polymer Science.
• Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience leading projects and formulating/commercializing rigid foam polyurethane products.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Designs value-creating solutions for customer problems within defined scope and impact.
• Develops hypotheses, plans, and executes experiments; interprets results and refines approaches.
• Provides technical support for trials and scale-up of Dow products at customer locations.
