Job summary

Percheron, LLC in the El Paso region seeks a Right of Way Lead to supervise multiple ROW Agents under the Project Manager, directing field activities and consolidating information for the ROW team.

The role demands at least four years in the ROW industry, exceptional organizational and reporting skills, strong knowledge of land rights and permits, and outstanding written and oral communication. Office-based work with some field coordination may be required.

Qualifications

• Four years minimum of experience in the Right of Way industry.
• Highly organized with strong tracking and reporting capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of right of way laws, rules, regulations, and contracts.
• Knowledge of land title research, valuations, and related documents.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities under pressure.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities of ROW Agents under supervision to ensure project alignment.
• Ensures team work is efficient, accurate, and timely.
• Provides tools and information to ROW Agents as needed.
• Researches and negotiates land rights, leases, and rights-of-way for construction.
• Reviews land ownership and permit requirements and acquires necessary permits.
• Maintains liaison with landowners and tenants on ownership and access issues.
• Prepares daily activity reports and reports on easements, settlements, and permits.
• Performs due diligence to identify deficiencies requiring remedial action.
