MEI Industrial Solutions in Southbridge, MA is seeking a Foreman to supervise rigging services for on-site and mobile customers. The role focuses on leading crews, ensuring timely, high-quality work, and strict safety compliance per job specifications.

You will train staff, coordinate multiple activities, and communicate job scope clearly. Frequent travel to job sites is required, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and customer service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; 3 years as rigging foreman or general foreman.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints or schematics.
• Strong English language skills; bilingual English/Spanish a plus but not required.
• Basic math including fractions, percentages, ratios and unit conversions.
• Ability to analyze problems, collect data and draw conclusions.
• Basic computer skills with Windows; familiarity with MS Office or company software.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.

• Supervise rigging and crating tasks and tailor activities to job specs.
• Ensure MEI requirements and safety standards are followed.
• Coordinate many activities under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
• Assist with hands-on training for staff and promote teamwork.
• Set clear performance expectations and review outputs at milestones.
• Maintain tools and equipment; ensure safe handling and care.
• Represent MEI professionally with customers and field personnel.
• Address scheduling conflicts and manpower issues as needed.
• Provide scope details and generate reports for management.
• Travel frequently to job sites and oversee crews.
