Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a General Foreman to supervise rigging services for on-site and mobile customers, ensuring timely, high-quality work in line with customer specifications. You will oversee crews, train staff, and promote teamwork with a strong safety focus.

The role requires reading technical docs, coordinating busy schedules, traveling to sites, and maintaining tools. A valid driver’s license and English proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus 3 years as rigging foreman or general foreman.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, or schematics.
• Proficiency with windows-based computers and Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual EN/ES helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise phases of rigging and crating tasks to meet job specs.
• Ensure customer and MEI requirements are followed and safe operations maintained.
• Coordinate activities under pressure and train staff on the spot.
• Promote teamwork, set performance expectations, and review progress.
• Travel to job sites frequently and oversee personnel as needed.
