Job summary

West Marine is seeking a Rigging Supervisor to lead the rigging shop, drive sales, and ensure quality across all customer orders. The role requires coordinating planning, scheduling, and production decisions to optimize resources and shipments.

You will supervise staff, mentor crew, and maintain safety and compliance while delivering exceptional service and building a skilled, efficient team in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive sales plan to achieve annual sales goals for the rigging shop and store.
• Oversee daily workflow of the rigging department and provide performance evaluations.
• Coordinate staffing and peak workload to ensure timely completion of customer orders.
• Oversee quotes, orders, transfers, POs, production, and payment processes for rigging products and services.
• Inspect rigging work for quality and safety, and train crew on rigging SOPs.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and PRO Market Team Managers to grow wholesale business.
