Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Construction Laborer in Fremont, CA, to support a large industrial project on a morning shift. You will assist with rigging, alignment, anchoring, and material handling on a physically demanding, outdoor site.

The role requires experience with hand and power tools, strong safety practices, and readiness to work long hours including weekends. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years construction experience, preferably commercial, concrete, or general labor.
• Proficiency with power/hand tools in industrial settings.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for rigging, anchoring, and equipment tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and test rigging lines, pulleys, hoists, and pulling gear to move heavy equipment safely.
• Align, level, and anchor heavy machinery according to specs and safety standards.
• Attach loads to rigging and direct operators to ensure safe lifting and placement.
