Job summary

This role requires 8–14 years of construction engineering experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong knowledge of transport, load distribution, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of rigging planning, lifting equipment, and load distribution.
• Experience supervising personnel and administering subcontractors preferred.
• Understands environmental, safety and health requirements on heavy-industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepares conceptual lift and transport studies.
• Advises on crane and heavy transport requirements for lifting strategies.
• Prepares technical specs for bid packages and evaluates subcontractor bids.
• Prepares lift data sheets and formal calculations.
• Reviews and approves lift and site transport plans with CRE involvement.
• May supervise lifting operations and abnormal site transport movements.
• Develops rigging training materials and conducts training.
• Monitors adherence to standard work processes and safety practices.
• Promotes a safe work environment on site.
