Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a dependable Rigger to set up, assemble, or disassemble rigging for relocation and transportation of machinery and equipment in Lehi, Utah. This role requires safe handling of gear, precise communication with the team, and the ability to operate related tools and vehicles.

You will inspect rigging materials, select appropriate equipment, and assist in fabrication, setup, and repair of rigging systems while maintaining safety standards in a physically demanding

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to take direction and closely follow instruction.
• Visualize outcomes and plan rigging accordingly using deductive and inductive reasoning.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals as required.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and PPE usage.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL/endorsements may be required for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test rigging materials to ensure safety and reliability.
• Align, level, and anchor machinery or equipment.
• Use hand and/or power tools to attach loads to rigging and prepare for moving.
• Select appropriate gear (cables, pulleys, winches, etc.) based on load.
