Job summary

Ranger Energy Services, LLC in Texas seeks an Operator I - Rig to operate and monitor rig controls and equipment. The role supervises crewmembers during operations and ensures safety, reliability, and quality service for customers.

You will perform daily equipment inspections, coordinate with vendors, and support maintenance, safety programs, and reporting. A strong safety mindset and ability to work flexible schedules in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 7 years’ experience on a well servicing rig preferred.
• 2 years as a relief operator preferred.
• Must be able to perform duties of Floor Hand III and derrick hand.
• Familiar with pump and tank operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate the rig safely during rig up/down and pulling operations.
• Promote RES safety policies and procedures.
• Promote Stop Work Accountability at site.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and perform energy isolation procedures.
• Train and mentor crew members on day-to-day operations.
• Stop work if conditions are unsafe and report concerns.
