Job summary

Ranger Energy Services is seeking an experienced Rig Operator I to oversee control and equipment on a work rig, supervising crewmembers and ensuring safety and productivity. The role involves operating the rig during up/down and pulling operations, coordinating with customer representatives, and maintaining equipment in good working order.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership and safety awareness, plus relevant experience on well servicing rigs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Seven years’ experience on a well servicing rig preferred.
• Two years as relief operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote RES Stop Work Accountability.
• Promote RES safety policies and procedures.
• Operate the rig safely during rig up/down and pulling operations.
• Inspect and test BOP and other safety systems as needed.
• Train and mentor crew members on day-to-day operations.
• Stop work if conditions are unsafe and report concerns.
