Job summary

Axis Energy Services, LLC. seeks a Well Service Rig Manager to safely oversee multiple rigs, manage crews, and drive cost efficiency. The role demands leadership, operational excellence, and strong safety culture across field operations.

You will supervise rig personnel, coordinate maintenance, and ensure service delivery meets customer expectations while maintaining the company’s best-in-class reputation. On-site role with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred; 5+ years oilfield management experience, or 8+ years in lieu of education.
• Experience across multiple oilfield service lines and geographies is a plus.
• Solid experience in rig execution, service delivery and crew scheduling.
• Proven coordination of oilfield equipment and operational efficiency.
• Business acumen with safety as a priority.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient operation of multiple rigs and crews.
• Manage costs, including supply and maintenance, and track performance.
• Coach and mentor crew; develop strong leadership on-site.
• Perform rig inspections and ensure equipment readiness.
• Communicate clearly and ensure accountability across teams.
• Partner with supervisors and support staff to meet service goals.
