Job summary

Axis Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Rig Operator to lead a 4–5 person workover rig crew and safely operate well workover components in accordance with company and customer requirements. The position emphasizes safety and reliability to meet project expectations.

Responsibilities include preparing crew, rig setup and teardown, routine inspection, troubleshooting, and communicating with field supervisors. A High School diploma, valid CDL, and 5 years of workover rig experience are required,

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent.
CDL A or B preferred.
Five years of workover rig experience; minimum two years Rig Operator experience; two or more years as Derrick Hand and Floor Hand preferred.
English preferred.
Willingness to travel and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Leads a 4–5 person workover rig crew and operates well workover components.
Prepares crew, inspects, maintains, and operates the rig per procedures and customer requirements.
Trains crew on safety and job procedures and ensures daily maintenance programs are followed.
Performs setting up, taking down, and transportation of the rig and coordinates with field supervision.
