Job summary

Axis Energy Services, LLC. is seeking a Rig Operator to lead a 4–5 person workover crew and operate the rig safely and efficiently on customer projects. You will prepare crew members, inspect and maintain equipment, and ensure adherence to safety procedures while meeting job requirements.

Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, training crew on safety, and coordinating with field supervision. Travel and weather conditions may apply, with on-site work at the Casper, WY facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or the equivalent.
• Valid state issued driver license with acceptable MVR; Class A or B CDL a plus/preferred.
• Five (5) years of workover rig experience; production experience preferred; two (2) years Rig Operator experience required.
• Two (2) years (prefer 3 years) of Derrick Hand and Floor Hand experience required.
• Basic knowledge of service mechanical functions.
• Able to access the work environment via a ladder up to 50 ft.
• Willing to travel; capable of working in all weather conditions.
• Able to communicate in English; safety and teamwork oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Background checks and pre-employment screens required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 4–5-person workover rig crew under supervision.
• Operate and safely run workover rig components and services.
• Prepare crew, inspect rig, perform maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
• Train and direct crew on safety and procedures.
• Manage safety analyses and daily maintenance programs for the rig.
• Occasional work outside normal schedule to meet customer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Tool Pusher/Field Supervisor.
