Job summary

Key Energy Services, LLC. in Hobbs, NM seeks an experienced supervisor to oversee rig crews and coordinate reverse packages for customers.

You will supervise foam air units, power swivels, and pumps, and run the BHA when drilling the well bore, ensuring safety policies and customer requirements are followed. You will lead safety meetings, direct rig floor operations, plan work with customer representatives, manage equipment, and report costs daily.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of oilfield related work, rigs, or fishing tool shop experience.
• Prior driller or fishing and milling operations experience.
• Supervisory skills and experience preferred.
• Ability to operate drilling rigs, workover rigs and snubbing units.
• Strong safety practices knowledge on rigs and foam air operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all rigging up reverse packages, directing pick up and laying down procedures for drilling bottom hole assemblies.
• Conducts safety meetings with the rig crew on pulling BHA and ensuring safe work practices (JSAs).
• Directs the rig crew on the rig floor during drilling tools down hole operations, up to 14 hours as needed.
• Oversees the drilling operations and maintains reverse package equipment.
• Ensures safety procedures and equipment handling are followed correctly.
• Develops and plans work activities with customer representatives and ensures correct equipment is ordered and maintained.
• Manages equipment used in reversing packages and drill out operations for safety and cleanliness.
• Provides daily contact with customers and Key fishing district regarding costs and equipment used.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
