Job summary

Ranger Energy Services, LLC seeks a Relief Operator to support rig operations on oil and gas wells. Under the Rig Manager, you organize the crew, conduct safety meetings, and drive the rig to work sites to perform assigned tasks.

You will lead floor hands and derrick hands, document services, manage crew hours, and assist in rigging up and down. Strong English, problem solving, and safety training are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication in English.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Supervisory level of well-control training.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew in rigging up/down safely and document post-rig inspections.
• Pull and lay down rods, tubing and casing using rig controls.
• Guide and manage the rig crew on a daily basis.
• Assist in training SSE employees and floor hands as needed.
• Assist Rig Manager with tasks around the rig as directed.
• Prepare rig tickets with correct pricing and hours for crew.
• Perform services on oil/gas wells with a 3/5-person crew.
• Drive a crew truck when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
