Cedar Point is seeking a Supervisor of Ride Maintenance to lead a Union crew of mechanics in the daily monitoring, maintenance, and repair of rides and attractions. You will supervise, train, and schedule staff while coordinating with foreperson to ensure top standards of safety and reliability.

You will develop maintenance plans, oversee winter overhauls and year-round preventive tasks, and assist in budget and parts management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of industrial electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use meters, gauges, measuring devices, cutting torch, mechanic's tools, and other hand/power tools.
• Preferred knowledge in Microsoft Office, Maintenance Connection, UKG, and JDE.
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug test per policy and background checks for those 18+.

Responsabilités

• Assist in leading a Union crew of mechanics in monitoring, maintenance, and repair of rides and attractions.
• Supervise subordinate crew members with foreperson, including training, scheduling, directing and planning work.
• Develop and implement short/long-range ride maintenance/repair plans and oversee preventive maintenance.
• Assist in monitoring budgets, ordering parts, and maintaining inventory.
• Ensure safe operating condition of all equipment and conduct safety meetings and inspections.
• Respond to inquiries from associates and guests regarding ride safety and maintenance.
• Assist Area Manager with hiring and growing the assigned team.
