Cedar Point is seeking a Supervisor of Ride Maintenance to lead a Union crew of mechanics in monitoring, maintaining and repairing rides and attractions. The role involves supervising staff, planning work, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating across departments.

The incumbent will develop maintenance plans, oversee preventive maintenance, assist in budgeting and inventory, and ensure all equipment operates safely during the season. Strong leadership and technical knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years supervisory/leadership experience.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical, hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use meters, gauges, measuring devices, cutting torch, mechanic's tools and other hand/power tools.
• Preferred knowledge in Maintenance Connection, UKG and JDE.
• Ability to pass drug test per company policy.
• Ability to pass background check per company policy.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Assists in performing and leading assigned crew in monitoring, maintenance and repair of rides and attractions.
• Supervises subordinate crew members with foreperson assistance, including training, scheduling, directing, reviewing and planning work, and maintaining standards.
• Reviews subordinates' work for effectiveness and efficiency; maintains a trained, motivated staff through performance and development programs; communicates expectations clearly.
• Develops and implements short/long range ride maintenance/repair plans; assists in winter overhaul and year-long preventive maintenance; monitors and repairs rides/vehicles during operating season; informs Area Manager of issues; assists other departments on repairs as needed.
• Assists Area Manager in preparing department budget; assists with ordering parts and materials; helps maintain inventory and budget compliance.
• Ensures safe operating condition of all equipment; conducts safety meetings and inspections; responds to inquiries from associates and guests regarding ride safety and maintenance.
• Hires candidates for open positions to grow the assigned team; ensures new hires have resources to perform their job.
