Talent Edge Recruiting is helping a long‑standing, family‑owned packaging company recruit a Field-Based Territory Sales Rep to cover Richmond, VA and Winchester, VA. This is a true hunter role: you’ll prospect, cold call, and build relationships with manufacturers from scratch with no leads.

You’ll work with an in‑house design and engineering team to tailor packaging and automation solutions, selling on value rather than price, and owning accounts once won.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of B2B outside sales in packaging.
• True consultative, value‑based sales background.
• Proven track record building new business from scratch.

Responsibilities

• True hunter role: prospect, cold call, network with manufacturers from scratch.
• Win new business and own accounts once landed.
• Sell without territory walls and pursue opportunities across regions.
• Take a consultative approach to understand packaging and automation needs.
