Job summary

Insight Global in Raleigh, NC is seeking an NC HIEA RHT Provider EHR Support Specialist to help rural and underserved providers connect to NC HealthConnex and fully utilize its tools. You will guide clinics and EHR vendors through onboarding, HL7 v2 and CCDA exchanges, and ensure data submissions meet standards for statewide care coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years with Electronic Health Records (EHR) platforms.
• Experience supporting EHR onboarding and interoperability.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and privacy/security requirements.
• Ability to interpret clinical workflows and map them to data exchange.
• Experience with HL7v2, CCD, and USCDI standards.
• Excellent communication with providers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead rural provider onboarding to NC HealthConnex and guide EHR vendors through HL7 v2 exchange, CCDA/CCD exchange, and services such as NC*Notify.
• Coordinate with internal NC HIEA teams to support integration tickets and address data ingestion or transformation issues.
• Provide expert guidance on interoperability standards including HL7 v2, CCDA, CCD, USCDI, and NC HIEA standards and troubleshoot message structures.
