Job summary

247Hire is seeking a technically skilled Analyst to support NC HIEA operations and the NC HealthConnex Clinical Portal. You will maintain data exchange infrastructure, develop complex data queries, and ensure data quality across EHR integrations.

The role requires hands-on experience with HL7, C-CDA, clinical data, and regulatory compliance, with collaboration across data architects, developers, and clinical stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in healthcare analytics are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technical analyst, data engineer, or related role involving healthcare data and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support technical infrastructure for NC HIEA and SAS platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Ensure stability and performance of data exchange systems and applications.
• Manage and coordinate change orders, bug fixes, and enhancements for the NC HealthConnex Clinical Portal.
• Develop and support complex data queries to assist with data validation, transformation, and reporting. Verify data extracts and monitor ETL (extract, transform, load) job streams. Generate business analysis reports based on internal and external data requirements.
• Use SQL, SAS, and InterSystems HealthShare tools to perform data exploration and generate insights for various analytic and outbound services.
• Lead technical analysis efforts, bringing detailed knowledge of EHR systems and data integration methodologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including data architects, developers, analysts, and clinical stakeholders to ensure data quality and system reliability.
