Job summary

Mega Cloud Lab is seeking a Senior EHR Specialist to drive complex healthcare data integration, ETL processing, and clinical analytics for the State of North Carolina. The role is 100% remote with the HQ in Raleigh, NC and requires leadership of cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant data exchanges within HIE systems.

You will oversee data pipelines, enforce HL7 v2 and C-CDA standards, and apply HIPAA governance while delivering actionable insights using SQL, SAS, and InterSystems

Qualifications

• 5+ years using SQL, SAS, and InterSystems HealthShare in enterprise healthcare.
• 5+ years SME-level expertise in EHR platforms, HL7 v2, and C-CDA standards
• 5+ years Extract validation, load monitoring, transformations, and reporting
• 5+ years Deep knowledge of HIE data standards and HIPAA regulatory guidelines
• 5+ years Leading integration initiatives and directing cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead complex EHR integration analyses and facilitate technical alignment across cross-functional teams.
• ETL & Data Pipelines: Monitor load jobs, validate data extracts, execute complex transformations, and deliver actionable business reporting.
• Clinical Architecture & Standards: Serve as an SME on EHR architecture, enforcing HL7 v2 and C-CDA standards.
• System Analytics: Query, analyze, and manage large-scale health datasets using SQL, SAS, and InterSystems HealthShare platforms.
• Regulatory Governance: Enforce strict HIPAA compliance and HIE data exchange standards across all integrations.
