Job summary

V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina seeks a HIEA TA Specialist Senior to maintain and optimize data exchange across health information systems. Hybrid work arrangement in the Raleigh area is supported.

The role requires deep experience with EHR data, HL7 v2 and C-CDA messaging, and strong collaboration with clinical stakeholders to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance. You will lead analyses and develop training materials and end-user reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Health Informatics, or related field.
• 3+ years experience as technical analyst, data engineer, or healthcare data analytics.
• Experience developing training materials or end-user reports on clinical data.
• Experience with clinical processes and requirements for health data exchange.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with SQL, SAS, and InterSystems HealthShare.
• Ability to lead analyses across complex EHR integrations.
• SME level knowledge of HL7 v2 and C-CDA messages.
• Understanding of EHR data architecture and data standards.
• Understanding IT architecture principles and technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support technical infrastructure for HIEA and SAS platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Ensure stability and performance of data exchange systems and applications.
• Manage and coordinate change orders, bug fixes, and enhancements for the HealthConnex Clinical Portal.
• Develop and support complex data queries to assist with data validation, transformation, and reporting.
• Verify data extracts and monitor ETL (extract, transform, load) job streams.
• Generate business analysis reports based on internal and external data requirements.
• Use SQL, SAS, and HealthShare tools to perform data exploration and generate insights.
• Lead technical analysis efforts, bringing detailed knowledge of EHR systems and data integration methodologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including data architects, developers, analysts, and clinical stakeholders to ensure data quality and system reliability.
