Job summary

Kaplan Early Learning Company is seeking an experienced RFP Specialist to lead responses for the Curriculum, Assessment & Professional Learning team. The ideal candidate will craft persuasive proposals while ensuring alignment with state standards and Kaplan’s educational goals.

The role requires strong writing, editing, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate with sales, content, and admin teams on content creation and library resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field is required.
• Four+ years of classroom teaching or administrative experience in education or related work.
• Superior writing, proofreading, and editing skills with ability to communicate to diverse audiences.
• Experience in developing and responding to RFPs and/or grants in the education sector.
• Strong research and analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborative skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFP development and responses for our Curriculum, Assessment, and Professional Learning team.
• Align curricula and assessments with state early learning standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for RFP responses.
• Craft persuasive, well-structured proposals demonstrating capacity and approach.
• Edit RFP responses for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with guidelines.
• Ensure timely submission of RFP responses and maintain CAPL RFP database.
• Support sales and professional learning teams, including creating content for materials.
