Job summary

Effective School Solutions is seeking an organized RFP & Contract Support Specialist to join our District and School Partnership team. This role will provide proposal-development support to the RFP Manager, contract-processing support to the Sales and Operations teams, and additional quote and proposal assistance as needed.

The largest portion of this role involves developing RFPs from kickoff through submission and handling contract quality assurance, routing, and status tracking across Sales,

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in RFP or grant writing, proposal development, or contract support.
• Not an entry-level role; experienced with deadline-driven documents or processes.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to serve as a quality-control checkpoint for contracts and proposals.
• Excellent written communication, proofreading, editing, and document-formatting skills.
• Ability to gather information and coordinate effectively with stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with CRM, proposal-management, or contract-management platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• RFP and Proposal Support: assist the RFP Manager from kickoff to final submission; gather information; draft/update standard sections; formatting, data gathering, and proofreading; maintain tracking logs; contribute content to internal databases; ensure timely submissions.
• Contract Support: review and quality-check contracts for accuracy; manage contract intake, routing, and handoff to signature; ensure pricing and terms are accurate; flag issues to Revenue Operations.
• Additional Growth and Operations Support: assist Operations and Growth teams with quote and proposal generation; provide formatting and documentation support; maintain organized proposal, contract, and quote documentation; adapt to shifting priorities.
