Job summary

The Standard in Portland, OR is seeking a detail-oriented RFP Program Specialist to manage multi‑part proposals from intake through submission. You will coordinate across sales, marketing, underwriting, legal, and other SMEs to craft accurate and compelling materials that meet solicitations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related fields and 2+ years in project management or RFP support, with experience in regulated industries and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field, or equivalent skills or experience.
• 2+ years of experience project management or supporting RFPs/proposals.
• Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to interpret requirements and produce customer-ready materials.
• Experience with insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute multiple RFPs from intake through final submission.
• Collaborate with internal partners to gather information and ensure accuracy of proposal content.
• Develop clear, competitive, and compliant proposal materials aligned with solicitation requirements.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder input in a deadline-driven environment.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance RFP response efficiency.
