Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. seeks a RFIC Design Engineer to define and develop complex RFICs for wireless applications including 4G, 5G, and 6G.

You will analyze signal paths, perform transistor-level design, and verify through simulations, collaborating across engineering teams to deliver high-performance transceivers. Ideal candidates hold an electrical engineering degree with hands-on RF design experience and proficiency in Cadence, Virtuoso, and ADS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years in RF/Analog circuit design for wireless products.
  • 2+ years of academic or professional experience using two or more of the following software: Cadence, Virtuoso, ADS.

Responsibilities

  • Use tools to contribute to architecture and design of small blocks per specifications.
  • Run simulations to evaluate circuit performance under various conditions.
  • Assist floorplanning and collaborate with layout engineers to generate circuit layouts and conduct layout verification.
  • Write basic test plans and review results to identify bugs in own work.
  • Debug simple issues and escalate complex ones.
  • Apply neural networks for circuit optimization and analysis.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in RFICs.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation for small projects.
