Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego is seeking an RF Systems engineer to design and analyze RF transceiver architectures, develop IC specifications, and collaborate with ASIC, RFIC, and SW teams. You will bring up features, troubleshoot complex RF system issues, and contribute to HW/SW/Firmware integration.

Minimum qualifications include a B.S. in a related field with 4+ years of experience or an advanced degree with fewer years. Strong programming in C/C++, Python and MATLAB is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field with 4+ years of experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with 2+ years.

Responsibilities

Develop IC specifications and system algorithms with ASIC designers and System Engineers.
Bring up complex system level features with the ecosystem.
Analyze RF systems with RFIC and SW teams.
Sustain efforts for ongoing chip designs with spreadsheets/Matlab analysis.
Support Applications Engineering to solve RF system issues on customer platforms.
Present to technical audiences and write reports.
Contribute to chipset HW/SW/Firmware integration.
