Job summary

SanMar-Internal is seeking an Equipment Operator at DC Warehouse in Arizona. You will locate product with RF unit, lift, stack and restock for customer orders, and ensure accurate handling of items during a 4:00am-12:30pm shift. The role involves safety practices and daily equipment checks.

You must read and write, identify colors/SKUs, perform basic math, and work well independently or in a team. PTO and benefits are provided, with pay at $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years lift operator experience.
• Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, SKUs.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently or in a team.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered lift equipment to move product and materials as assigned using a radio frequency (RF) unit to scan movement of product, identify locations, etc.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product.
• Restock, pick, and pack product for customer orders.
• Inspect assigned equipment daily at start of shift; check out equipment and return in same condition daily.
• Follow procedures for proper care and use of equipment, to include keys.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and guidelines.
• Complete and maintain SanMar's Lift Operator Certification in compliance with OSHA guidelines every three years.
