Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Maryland is seeking a Test Technician for a 4th shift (7am–7pm, Fri–Sun). You will apply electronics principles to fabricate, test, and troubleshoot complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits and systems.

Responsibilities include acceptance testing, data collection, and software/hardware integration. A DoD Secret clearance is required, plus a high school diploma with 6+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a current active DoD Secret Security Clearance (less than 5 years since investigation)
• High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of relevant fabrication/test experience
• Must have experience with electronics principles.

Responsibilities

• Determine methods to monitor tests and measure electrical performance on complex systems
• Set up, calibrate and operate complex equipment and facilities across technologies
• Verify product/configuration/test processes and calibration of equipment
• Collect and analyze electrical performance data and prepare test reports
• Program and verify devices and debug hardware/software interfaces
• Troubleshoot systems, devices and setups to locate and repair defects
• Assist engineers in developing circuits, processes and operations per design specs
• Develop and test highly complex components and prototype devices
• Perform initial tests on new/updated equipment and calibrate as needed
• Adapt to changing assignments and develop test specifications and revisions
• Integrate software and hardware through debugging and system integration
