Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks an RF Test Engineer to design, build, test prototype RF waveforms and systems for DoW/IC missions. You will analyze data from RF systems, conduct field tests both at lab and CONUS/OCONUS sites, and present results to sponsors.

You should have a bachelor's in EE or physics, experience with RF lab equipment, and coding in Python/MATLAB/C++. TS/SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship are required for access to classified information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• Experience with RF lab test equipment.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or C++.
• Knowledge of RF concepts and network parameters.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design and build hardware and software test beds.
• Integrate hardware and software systems.
• Define and execute hardware/software tests against specs.
• Plan and document field tests at lab and CONUS/OCONUS sites.
• Document results and present to sponsors.
