Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking an RF T&E Engineer to support RF data-link test and evaluation efforts. You will work hands-on with hardware and contribute to planning, performing, and improving test activities, while collaborating with engineers across the lab.

The role emphasizes rapid analysis, tool development in MATLAB/Python/C++, and readiness for occasional nights/weekends to meet sponsor needs.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Computer, or related engineering field.
• At least 3 years of RF test equipment experience or RF analysis.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C++, or C.
• Willingness to work occasional nights/weekends and obtain Interim Secret clearance.
• MS degree and 5+ years RF experience is a plus.
• Secret clearance or above with SAP eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Participate in RF test and analysis efforts across the lab.
• Help develop hardware/software tools and SOPs for RF/T&E activities.
• Contribute to planning, performing, and standardizing test activities.
