Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks an RF T&E engineer to perform RF test and evaluation of communications hardware and data-links. You will join a hardworking team of engineers and scientists in the Baltimore‑Washington area, contributing to sponsor-driven projects with hands-on hardware work and evolving SOPs.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or related field, 3+ years of RF test equipment or RF analysis experience, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or related Engineering field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of RF test equipment or RF analysis experience.
Ability to write software tools in MATLAB, Python, C++, or C.
Willingness to work occasional nights/weekends to support sponsor needs.
US citizenship and ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; ultimately Secret level clearance.

Responsibilities

Participate in RF test and analysis efforts across the lab.
Contribute to hardware/software tool development and SOPs.
Produce analysis and results impacting sponsor and industry partner decisions.
