Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, MD seeks an RF T&E engineer to plan, perform, and analyze RF test efforts supporting defense challenges. You will work hands-on with RF hardware and contribute to SOPs and tooling.

Minimum BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, 3+ years RF test/analysis experience, proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and the ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance (Secret eligibility).

Qualifications

  • BS or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with RF test equipment or RF analysis tasks.
  • Proficient in MATLAB, Python, C++, or C.
  • Willing to work occasional nights/weekends to support sponsor needs.
  • Eligibility to obtain Interim Secret clearance (and ultimately Secret). US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, perform, and analyze RF test efforts across multiple data-links.
  • Contribute to hardware/software tools and SOPs; document results.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists.
