Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking an RF Electronic Warfare Engineer to design, test, and evaluate ground-based EW systems countering UAS and IED threats. You will work with RF hardware/software, perform field tests, and analyze data to improve EW capabilities.

Qualified candidates hold a relevant engineering degree and 3+ years in MATLAB/Python/C/C++. Clearances and travel may be required for integration and testing activities at government ranges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related field.
  • 3+ years of software development experience in MATLAB, Python, C, or C++.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of RF electronics to enhance EW systems against UAS/RCIED threats.
  • Assist Government and Industry partners in development and analysis of EW systems.
  • Provide technical support during field and lab test and evaluation events.
  • Analyze data for pre-test and post-test reporting of EW capabilities.
  • Collaborate with systems engineering and design teams per government standards.
