Job summary

Microwave Products Group in West Chester, OH, is seeking a Test Engineer to support engineering and manufacturing by developing and implementing efficient test solutions for RF systems.

You will design RF architectures, review testing processes, and drive standardization of automated test equipment while leveraging LabVIEW for automation and performance improvements across development and production environments.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Person (US Citizen or permanent resident – green card holder).
• BSEE or BSEET from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF based systems required.
• Experience with RF test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Signal Generators required.
• Experience with MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704, and RTCA/DO-160 a plus.
• Experience supporting or calibrating RF test architectures a plus.
• Experience performing Measurement System Analysis (MSA) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design RF architectures including test fixtures, racks, and test benches
• Work with engineers and technicians to review and optimize current testing processes
• Support standardization of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) for engineering and production applications
• Review and implement solutions to leverage performance improvements of new technology
• Develop automated solutions to support development and production testing utilizing NI LabVIEW
• Assist with the development of test plans, procedures, and test instructions
• Perform testing, collect data, and analyze the results, including documentation of the findings
• Support DVT and Qualification activities as required
• Perform maintenance or repairs of equipment and fixtures as required
• Function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Support system integration testing
