Job summary

Actalent in Redmond, WA, is seeking an RF Test Engineer to design, execute, and automate RF test plans for components, modules, and systems, ensuring accurate measurement and reliable validation of RF performance. This hands-on role focuses on RF bench testing and test automation.

You will work with RF lab equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, and oscilloscopes, develop test scripts in Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
3+ years of RF or microwave testing, characterization, or validation.
Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, oscilloscopes).
Proficiency with test automation and scripting, particularly using Python.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute RF test plans for components, modules, and systems.
Perform RF measurements and set up RF measurement fixtures and related hardware.
Automate bench measurements using Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
Design and maintain test scripts, data logging tools, and reporting workflows.
