Job summary

Elve Inc. is seeking an RF Test Automation Engineer to develop, automate, and maintain RF test procedures and software frameworks for production and engineering tests in Davis and San Francisco, CA.

The role spans hardware, instrumentation, software, and production systems, with a strong emphasis on hands-on testing and reliable automation. You will translate engineering requirements into repeatable RF test procedures, automate them within reusable frameworks, and contribute to test coverage,

Qualifications

• Strong RF fundamentals and RF parameters (S-parameters, gain, output power, noise power, compression, linearity).
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators).
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ with object-oriented design.
• Experience with Git or similar version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF test procedures based on engineering and product requirements.
• Automate RF testing using reusable software frameworks.
• Develop and maintain test software for data acquisition, processing, logging, and reporting.
• Interface with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters).
• Troubleshoot software, instrumentation, test setups, and RF hardware.
