Job summary

Elve, Inc is seeking an RF Test Automation Engineer to develop, automate, and maintain RF test procedures and software frameworks for production and engineering testing in California. You will work across RF hardware, test instrumentation, and production systems to translate requirements into effective test processes.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware interaction, data acquisition, logging, and cross-functional collaboration with RF, manufacturing, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Strong RF fundamentals and software debugging skills.
• Translate engineering requirements into practical test procedures.
• Experience with Python/C++ in production environments.
• Familiarity with hardware test setups and data logging.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF test procedures from product requirements.
• Automate RF testing with reusable software frameworks.
• Create and maintain test software for data acquisition, logging, and reporting.
• Interface with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters).
• Troubleshoot software, instrumentation, and RF hardware issues.
• Collaborate with RF, test, manufacturing, and product engineers to improve coverage.
• Implement debugging, logging, error handling, and version control practices.
• Prepare for live customer product demonstrations.
• Document test methods, software, and results for engineering teams.
