Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking a Test Engineer in Morgan Hill, CA, to lead automated test system development and RF device testing. You will calibrate, debug, test, and troubleshoot RF devices with automated and manual stations, and implement required solutions.

Requirements include a BS/MS in EE or Physics, 2+ years in RF test work, and Python and LabVIEW proficiency. ITAR requires US Persons only; relocation is available.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of RF device testing and test station development.
• Experience designing automated test systems for hardware.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Python and LabVIEW experience.
• Good documentation to track root causes and non-conforming hardware.
• ITAR: US Persons only.

Responsibilities

• Develop Automated Test system(s).
• Perform calibration, debug test systems and test RF devices/ modules.
• Analyze test data and write formal reports.
• Document new test procedures as required.
• Collaborate with product, yield engineering, and R&D for new product introductions.
