Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer - Manufacturing Test Engineering (RF Systems) in Rolling Meadows, IL. You will develop test software for RF production hardware and ensure robust verification and validation in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Design, Test Hardware, QA, and Manufacturing teams to deliver reliable test solutions, drive testability, and support acceptance testing of line replaceable units and payload-level screening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in a STEM field with relevant experience
• Experience with hardware and calibration/testing methodology
• Experience with test instruments (PNAs, generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes)
• Experience with programming in C#, C, LabVIEW or LabWindows CVI
• Experience troubleshooting hardware/software/firmware issues
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance
• US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Support software governing test equipment operation and troubleshoot discrepancies
• Design, code, integrate, and validate test software solutions for RF systems
• Develop and maintain Manufacturing Acceptance testing and Environmental Screening procedures
• Collaborate with design, test hardware, QA, and manufacturing teams to meet contractual commitments
• Lead collaboration with product design engineers and manufacturing technicians
• Interface with leadership, clients, and vendors as needed

Education

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or related STEM field

Master of Science in equivalent fields
