Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz USA, based in Coppell, TX, seeks an RF Systems Architect to lead complex RF, OTA and wireless solution design across A&D and OTA applications. The role combines high-impact technical leadership with customer engagements, proposals, and professional services development.

You will guide discovery, define requirements, design end-to-end RF architectures, and mentor engineering teams while collaborating with sales, services and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of RF systems engineering or solution architecture.
• Strong RF, OTA and wireless expertise and related test methodologies.
• Experience creating technical quotations and proposals.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to architect RF, OTA, wireless and A&D solutions.
• Lead discovery, requirements analysis and solution definition.
• Design end-to-end RF system architectures including hardware and software.
• Create technical proposals, BOMs, SOWs and quotations.
• Address complex RF and system integration challenges.
• Mentor teams on RF architectures and best practices.
