Job summary

Intuitive Machines in San Jose, CA is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer to join our RF subsystems team focused on active (RF converters, amplifiers, oscillators) and passive (filters, IMUXs/OMUXs) components for satellite platforms.

You will design and document RF subsystems, collaborating with RF engineers and manufacturing teams through development, manufacturing and test phases, and report progress to management.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of related experience; master's degree may substitute for two years.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the Mechanical Design Engineer for RF subsystems.
• Determine specifications for design, development, test and production activities.
• Provides technical consultation to management and other engineering personnel.
• Designs, documents and reports on engineering progress for assigned projects.
• Provides technical analysis and recommendations and prepares briefings/reports.
