Job summary

Delta Electronics Mfg. Corp., based in Beverly, MA, seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the manufacturing engineering team and optimize processes for tight tolerances in RF/microwave interconnect production.

You will translate complex designs into repeatable, cost-effective production, drive continuous improvement, manage CapEx, NPI readiness, and ensure AS9100/ISO9001 and military specs compliance, with a strong floor presence across machining, plating, and assembly.

Qualifications

• BS in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a direct managerial or lead role.
• Solid background in CAD for tooling/fixture design.
• Lean/Six Sigma and SPC mastery.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and shop-floor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Beverly-based manufacturing engineering team, technicians, and toolmakers.
• Drive cycle-time reduction, tooling optimization, and variance reduction.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Six Sigma) on plant layout and material flow.
• Oversee design, fabrication and validation of tooling and fixtures.
• Manage CAPA and root-cause investigations (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone).
• Support NPI and DFA with R&D to enable ramp and AS9100 compliance.
